# Semantic Arts

Semantic Arts publishes [gist](../references/gist-ontology.md), the minimalist upper ontology this repository renders in LinkML. Its ontology namespace is `https://w3id.org/semanticarts/ns/ontology/gist/` and its shapes namespace `https://shapes.semanticarts.com/gist/`. Both the upstream Turtle release under `upstream/gist14.1.0_webDownload/` and the vendored shapes under `tests/vendor/semanticarts/` carry its CC BY 4.0 licence text.
